engineering admission
Hey Aspirant,
Both Manipal and VIT are among the top 5 private colleges for engineering in India. At 5th his rank in manipal you will not get CSE or IT or ECE. So what I would suggest is you should go for VIT , since you have already got CSE core. And in private colleges it doesn't really make a difference if you are in the top colleges.
I hope this helps!

Hello candidate,
In any private Engineering college, there are two types of seats available for admission. These are of- 70% of the seats are called Category A seats or Convener seats, and the remaining 30% seats are called Category B seats or Management Quota Seats. In order to get admission through management quota the candidates need to submit their Class 12 th with a minimum of 45% to 50% of marks. Moreover, if you have any further queries feel free to post it here!!
Hi Aspirant,
There is no such thing as management quota in IITs. They are autonomous public technical universities . There is only one way to get admission into IIT which is that after class 12th, candidates have to first appear and qualify the JEE Main entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency. After qualifying JEE Main a candidate has to qualify JEE Advanced to get admission into IITs and on basis of All India Rank(AIR) allocation of seats at the different IITs are through a common process by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) .
For more information about JEE Main and Advanced refer the link below,

Hope this helps.
Good luck!!
Hi there,
KCET ranks depend on a lot of factors such as difficulty level of the exam, no. of candidates, competition level, and so on.
As 12th marks will not be considered this year to calculate the rank, your score wil solely be based on your KCET score. As 12th marks have been scrapped off the number of applicant applying for the exam has increased by 30 percent this year, making the competition fierce. Anyhow, it is unlikely to predict your marks vs rank this year. As It all depends on a myriad of factors so it's always good to give your best shot in the exam.
Thank you!
