It is not necessary to apply for IIITs in JOSAA counselling for you to be notified about it aor be able to participate in it. You simply need to qualify the JEE Mains exam and then you will be able to participate in it.

With your rank in JEE Mains and assuming that you are a general category aspirant, it would be difficult for you to get ECE in SASTRA, but you should be able to get one of the less preferred branches.

There are two rounds of counseling in sastra university and they are as follows:

• Stream 1 (based on JEE(Main) 2019 and +2 Marks) for 70% of seats.
• Stream 2 (based on +2 marks) for 30% of seats.
