Dear aspirant basically choosing a stream depends on your interest and not upon college. All you have to do is study all by yourself in any college. So if you are interested in field work go ahead with civil engineering. You can also do higher education.

That mostly depends on the college she had applied in but in any examination with conversion percentage greater than 2%, it is kind of unlikely butit is not a very bad position to be in.

Yes maheswari ,you can pursue M.Tech degree after graduation and then after doing M.Tech you can go for PHD degree.If you want to go outside India,you can apply for GRE and other exams for foriegn universities.I hope i cleared what you wanted to ask.
