Engineering and Architecture
Dear,
It would have been better if you could have provided with some background regarding your education. However, I would say doing a business degree or an MBA will be a safe bet to provide one with the widest range of career possibilities. It is a general degree and you would have studied a range of modules covering accounting, economics, finance, legal, marketing, operations and gained the flexibility to either start your own business or do sales, marketing, operations and other roles in banking, corporations, and non profit organisations.
Also, don’t miss out the networking and interactions you would have gained with your classmates to whom they might wish to start a business together with you or provide leads to landing your next job before or after graduation. The sky’s, the limit!
IT: Work Life balance is difficult but you can make a lot of money if you are good at learning and have good amount of intelligence.
Commerce : Again you can earn a great amount here too but you will have to put lot of efforts.
But just don't go after money, keep your interest also in mind. You will be doing that for 20–30 years of your life. So if it doesn't interest you, you will not be happy which is more important than money.
Hope this helps!
With a 4707 rank in IMUCET and being an ST candidate, you have a good chance of getting admission in Indian Maritime University (IMU) campuses or its affiliated institutes. ST category seats have lower cut-offs, so your rank gives you an advantage. You may get branches like B.Sc. Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, or others depending on your preference and availability. Keep an eye on the official counselling schedule and be ready with your documents. Fill your choices wisely during counselling, starting from top campuses. Stay positive—your category rank will help improve your chances of getting a good course and college.

It is quite difficult to make any accurate prediction of your admission chances for any particular campus or branch because the cut-offs keep on changing every year depending upon various factors such as :-
*** number of candidates appeared in MET 2022
*** difficulty level of the paper
*** top score for MET 2022
*** total number of seats available for admission and so on
However on the basis of previous year's cut-off you have good chances in following branches in main campus :-
B.Tech Biotechnology
B.Tech Chemical Engg
B.Tech Civil
B.Tech Biomedical Engg
B.Tech Electronics and Instrumentation Engg
B.Tech Media Technology
B.Tech Aeronautical Engg
B.Tech Automobile Engg
B.Tech Industrial and Production Engg
B.Tech Mechatronics
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To secure a Computer Science Engineering (CSE) seat in the main campus of a university, the required rank can vary significantly depending on the specific institution and its competitiveness. Generally, for top-tier institutions like IITs and NITs, you'll need a very high rank in the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main or Advanced. For example, in older IITs, closing ranks for CSE can be within the 250-1000 range, while newer IITs might see cutoffs between 600 and 3000. For NITs, the cutoff can range from 1,000 to 25,000 depending on the specific NIT and its tier.
