If you are talking about the national institute of technologies then with a percentile of 59 whatever the category you belong to, you can not get admitted to any NITs that to in Tamil Nadu which has the best of NITs.
So my suggestion is that you should try for
I would suggest that you go for BE CSE in PSG college of Technology. It would be because PSG is better than SASTRA and also because even after doing B.sc you have to study for masters to land a job. Whereas B.tech is enough to get you a good job.

1)Birla Institute of Technology, Meara Computer Science and Engineering
The average package is about 13-14 lakh. It is nowhere as good as BITS Pilani but still good enough.
