Analyzing the previous years cut-offs, you will have chances for admission in govt colleges but the chances are very low.You may not secure seat in mech and computer sciences but have probavility for electronics. This also depends on present scenerio of highest marks and number of students.

There is no separate exam for UG courses for taking admission into ssn chennai. It is merit based.

The selection process for B.E. /B.Tech are purely merit based.

For PG courses, it is merit based. But, it also has entrance test GATE / TANCET.

Fundamentals of root subjects. They can ask basic to moderate, even hard to solve questions, like tracing curve tracing in Mathematics, Basic class 12th questions. A good interviewer does not guarantee your selection, other factors like written test performance, reservation quota are things which matters most.
