Hello Nazish, departments and offices like HRD do not attest documents like diplomas or degree certificates. However the orginal copy of your diploma is already undersigned or approved by HRD or UGC if you have undergone your course from a recognized institute. In that case, you would not even need HRD attestation.

Any college must be recognized by AICTE whether autonomous or not. Autonomous colleges are colleges which have their own administration rules rather than being affiliated to some University. Government autonomous colleges are extremely demanded as they have the topmost experts in our country. The Very example being IITs, NITs , IISC, etc.. But on the other hand Private autonomous institutions with the exception of few are low in quality. Since they are not affiliated to any university the degrees they give also doesn't have popular recognition. So it is better to avoid them.

You may mention the exam you are talking about for better guidance. But in most exams you will be alloted colleges in the spot round only based on your registration for the spot round. Placements in SJBIT are good, especially for computer science and electronics branches. The highest salary package offered for them is 8-10 LPA, and it may even go higher. Placements for mechanical engineering and civil engineering are not as good as CS. The salary package offered is from 2-7 LPA.

The placements in Government Sri Krishnarajendra Silver Jubilee Technological Institute are almost non existent. If you are joining this institute just for placements don't. There is no proper placement cell and no online placements records present.
