Admissions Process
Eligibility for PGDIE
The Candidates must have aggregate 60% marks (relaxable by 5% in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates) in Engineering / Technology graduation and a valid GATE score as on June 15, 2017. As per Govt. of India rules, reservation of seats exists for SC/ST/OBC-NC (Non-Creamy) and PwD candidates. Programme-wise graduation level eligibility is as follows:
Students in the final year of graduation can also apply subject to the following conditions:
For PGDIE programme applicant with any branch in Engineering/ Technology can apply.
For PGDMM programme candidates with following engineering disciplines can apply- Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Chemical, Textile, Electrical, Electronics and other relevant branches such as Industrial engineering, Instrumentation and Industrial electronics.
For PGDPM programme candidates with following engineering disciplines can apply- Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Chemical, Civil, Textile, Electrical, Electronics and other relevant branches such as Industrial engineering, Instrumentation and Industrial electronics
Provided they qualify the above requisite criteria at the time of application.
Complete their examination, viva voce etc, by the time of joining the Institute.
Submit the final year mark-sheet and provisional certificate, latest by September 2017.
Applicants should take the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by the IITs in order to apply for the programmes.

Pune Institute of Computer Technology, is a private unaided engineering college located in Dhankawadi, Pune, India. Established by the Society for Computer Technology and Research, SCTR in 1983.
Placement - The college is known for good placements. Rakuten gives the high package. The average package offered by the college is 5 lacks per annum and it goes as high upto 30 lacks annually. Every year around 10-12 students gets a job offer of packages above 12 lacks/year. Companies like Nvidia, Infosys etc. Come here for recruitment.
Faculty - The teachers have excellent knowledge in their respective fields and impart it proficiently. The faculty members are very cooperative and helpful.
Infrastructure - The infrastructure if the college is good, classrooms are big, sufficiently lit and well-ventilated. The canteen is really hygienic and serves good food. Hostel rooms are spacious and well furnished. Wi-Fi is available everywhere in the campus
Overall the college is really good.

First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance and I would like to tell you that based on your rank in general category and considering the fact that you belong to general category you can get NITs or IIITs in special round counselling conducted at the end. But i would suggest you don't fully depend on special round counselling instead keep a backup.

I'm assuming that you are talkig about a college because you have'nt mentioned anything.
Mostly no college allow mobile phones in the college premises, or he/she should keep the mobile to switch off mode. Although the students can a mobile phone in the campus.
