Since your educational interest is engineering. The best college for placements are the IIT's their package can go upto 1 crore and above per annum. Their average package is about 15 - 30 lakh per annum. However, it is not easy to get admission in to one.

The cut off varies from examinations to examinations. There are National level exams as well as state level exams so cut off is totally decided by thier respective boards.But to get Mechanical or Electronic and Communication Engineering you need to have atleast a rank of 2000.So that in
Hello Perts, You don't have to give practical exam again for appearing in improvement exam. Your marks in last exam will be consider in new result. so you can only give improvement exam for the subject you select, no need of practical exam.
