Semi government colleges are those private institutions which are aided by the government. These don't exactly come under the list of government colleges. Also, the fees for these will be lower than private institutions but higher than government institutions.

Dear student, government aided means a college which is funded around 51% by government, be it state or central. While private colleges run on their own money. Government aided private colleges have Category A seats which are allocatted via state counselling, while this option is not available in private colleges.
