Hi Aspirant,
Actually all the courses and streams of BTech has its own importance and has a great future for long term. Engineering(BTech) only has a great future. However looking at the current scenario and trends around the globe, we can say that the streams that has a great future(not just in 2021 or 2025): Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Robotics Engineering. whatever I have listed is not just for listing sake. Each has its own importance. Like let's take Telecommunication engineering, few years back many of us or even our parents had not been acquainted that much with the telephonic communications, we used to do communication mostly in traditional way. But with the development in this field in just few years, now we are too much dependent on telephonic communication which is leading to all the newer and better developments in this field. And this thing is happening for all the other branches too. Many of the people currently also believe that Artificial Intelligence is going to rule the world in few years.
So it is better to go for the stream that you like the most and has interest in.
Hope it guides you.
Good luck!!
Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you as you have not mentioned about the name of the college or university you are talking about so the required or desired information can't be shared you need to mention the name of the college and the location of hostel then only we share the required distance between the same.
Hope you found this answer useful.Stay motivated stay positive.
