I got 53 percentile in Jee mains, Can i get admission in Maharashtra state engineering colleges through Jee mains in B.E mechanical engineering ?

sheemaashraf123 29th Oct, 2021

It is suggested you go through the list of colleges you want to apply in and make your own preference list. for example It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/OBC category is lower than the general category CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth. However to get any NIT, you must have qualified JEE Mains and to get any IIT, you must have qualifies JEE Advanced. It should be noted the cut off for OBC/ EWS/ SC/ ST category is lower than the general category

i got 56% in mhtcet2021 and i belong to SC category , suggest me engineering colleges for CSE. branch.

Sumedha Bhattacharya 27th Oct, 2021

Dear Student ,

As per your percentile and caste category  , your rank may lie between  47,001-53,000  according to previous year cut off trends and with this rank range you can get the following well known colleges with CSE branch in Mumbai Region:

  • KJEI's Trinity Academy of Engineering, Yewalewadi, Pune
  • K.D.K. College of Engineering, Nagpur
  • Sanjivani Rural Education Society's Sanjivani College of Engineering, Kopargaon and others

But, you need to remember that the above prediction is based totally on last year cut off and the predicted rank range based on that databases and your given percentile, that's why this prediction can't give you 100% accuracy as the cut off varies every year due to some unavoidable factors like seat matrix, difficulty level of exam etc.

You can still  use this MHT CET college predictor link to find more colleges list that you can through your rank as a personalized report :

Hope this helps !

Best wishes !!

I got 4 lakh crl rank and 49000 category rank so which college would I get??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 17th Sep, 2021

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict because cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-

******number of students that appeared in the  jee main exam,

****** number of available seats,

****** performance of different students in the examination,

****** the category you belong etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then

>>>>>> With your  rank,

You have low chances in NITs / IIITs

You have chances in  some of the government engineering colleges which are listed below along with the link for their previous year  :-

-------) Dr APJ Abdul Kalam UIT Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Jhabua :- https://www.careers360.com/colleges/dr-apj-abdul-kalam-uit-rajiv-gandhi-proudyogiki-vishwavidyalaya-jhabua/cut-off

-------) UJJAIN ENGINEERING COLLEGE:- https://www.careers360.com/colleges/ujjain-engineering-college-ujjain/cut-off

-------) Indira Gandhi Engineering College, Sagar :- https://www.careers360.com/colleges/indira-gandhi-engineering-college-sagar/cut-off

-------) Vikram University, Ujjain :- https://www.careers360.com/university/vikram-university-ujjain/cut-off

And a few more

This prediction of colleges is  based of past year data but  cut off or closing rank changes every year depending upon many factors like the number of students that give the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main  for different shifts etc so

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below
