Does caste make any difference in getting admission in engineering colleges

Aditya kumar singh 14th Sep, 2021
Hi
Yes it creates a difference in admission to engineering colleges as the cutoffs of different categories are different for different colleges and entrance exams . The cutoffs of general category is more whereas cutoffs of obc and SC/St category is less which means general candidates have to score more marks in the same exam as compared to other category candidates.
Hope it helps ..

My sister got 13737 rank in AP EAMCET.would like to know top engineering colleges for computer science department under category bce

Anurag Khanna 14th Sep, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

It is not possible to provide you an exact list of colleges based on your rank because cut-off keeps on changing depending upon various factors such as :

** Number of candidates appeared for examination.

** Top score for that particular year.

** Total number of seats available.

Based on previous years (2019) allotment of seats, on such rank you have good chances to get some colleges like :-

ANU COLLEGE OF ENGG TECHNOLOGY

AVANTHI INSTITUTE OF ENGG. AND TECHNOLOGY

SRI CHAITANYA -DJR COLL OF ENGG AND TECH

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-off from the link given below :-

https://cache.careers360.mobi/media/uploads/froala_editor/files/2019-cutoff.pdf

You can use the AP EAMCET 2021 College Predictor tool to predict the colleges that you can get based upon your AP EAMCET 2021 rank.

You can use AP EAMCET College predictor from the link given below :-

what is the difference between the iit,nit with local engineering colleges.is their any syllabus different in iit,nit and local colleges

aswathypadinjakkara 14th Sep, 2021

Hi

Hope you are doing well.

The syllabus will be almost same. But some private institutions have their own syllabus. The core subjects will be same. There will be difference in electives, internships etc. Good laboratories, practical things will be more equipped in IITs.Syllabus does not differ that much only the way it is delivered will be different.Conceptual learning of topics will be good in IITs.
