It is not mandatory to get 50%  marks in KCET for General category to get seat in engineering college. However, It is preferred to get more than 65% to get into a recognized and reputable college of engineering to shape your carrier.

It is difficult to predict because cut off / closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon several factors  like

• number of students which appeared in TS EAMCET

• Difficulty level of TS EAMCET examination

• number of seats available for different branches

• number of students from different categories
