Engineering courses
Hello,
To become an astronaut a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, either in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, chemistry or biology (STEM field), or Aeronautical/Aerospace engineering. But a higher university degree like Master’s/PhD will be of added value.
Now coming to the two courses, Aerospace is a branch of engineering, where you get to learn design, building, testing and maintenance of civil aircraft, missiles, space shuttles, rockets, space stations and other such units. On the other hand, Aeronautical engineering is a sub division field of Aerospace Engineering and deals with the study of designing and building aircraft such as aeroplanes and helicopters. In simpler words Aeronautical engineering Relates to machines that fly within the earth’s atmosphere, wheres as Astronautical engineering includes the study related to spacecraft such as rockets, space stations and shuttles.
Now a degree in both the fields would be fine, but it would be better to do it in Aerospace Engineering.
Also if it is your dream to become an astronaut, you should also keep in mind that physical fitness plays an important role and so it is very much important that you take care of your health and maintain fitness.
Below I will share a link where you can find some of the best colleges in India that provide courses in Aerospace engineering:

Hi
What do you mean by pure science?
Can you please help us with the subject you have ?
Do you have physics, chemistry and Maths?
The basic eligibility criteria to be eligible for engineering is that you must have studied Maths and Physics along with one of - Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject.
For example,
Here's eligibility criteria of few of the entrance examinations in India for engineering. :-
JEE MAIN ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Eligibility criteria says that to be eligible for JEE mains 2021 for BE or Btech you should be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent in 2021 or should have passed it in 2020 or 2019 with Physics, mathematics and anyone of - Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject.
For detailed information go through

BITSAT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for engineering
One should have atleast 75% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in your 12th examination, and also must have got at least 60% marks individually in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
You can get complete eligibility criteria at:-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/bitsat-eligibility-criteria/amp
So, if you have Physics, chemistry and Maths in your 10+2 , you will be eligible for all the engineering courses provided you meet the other criteria as well of entrance exam you will be appearing for or the college in which you will be applying for admission
You can check eligibility criteria of all the entrance examination for engineering at our page the link for the same is provided below

Dear aspirant,
According to your question and taking into consideration that you want to know about whether state quota is considered or not for admission in delhi engineering colleges.
I would like to tell you that state quota is definitely preferred for admission and the reservation for Delhi based candidates are 85%.
You can visit the below link https://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-engineering-colleges-in-tirunelveli and download there brochures to know how you can get admission in these. Usually private colleges may offer admission without entrance exams.
Below I have shared some of the engineering courses after 12th:

Dear Aspirant,
CSE engineers are in great demand in both public as well as private sector, and their salary is also high. I am listing some public sector jobs for a CSE engineer below.
Hope this helps.
Dear Student,
Admission into CBIT,on chaitanya Bharti Institute of Technology or Vasavi college are given on the basis of jee main rank and ipe marks which are b-category seats. There are two types of b-category seats.
1)JEE main quota
2)NRI quota(based on ipe marks)
For jee main quota there will be no fee reimbursement.Under NRI quota you will be given admission on the basis of ipe marks for which one need to pay 3.2 lakh every year.In jee main quota there is 85% local quota and 15% non local quota. For non local quota it is highly impossible to get admission into these colleges. You can further check the official sites for b-category seats admissions

Hello!
No, mathematics plays an essential role in Engineering. 12th mathematics is the basics for Engineering mathematics. Engineering courses will look for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in your higher secondary schooling. But you can pursue biotechnology engineering. But definitely there is no chance for computer science engineering, architecture, civil etc. First thing there is no chance for engineering without higher secondary mathematics. Secondly if you get a seat by influence or recommendation it will become a difficult job for you to keep up with the syllabus. From my perspective you can opt biology related courses like biotechnology, agriculture etc. Choose wisely, ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was helpful.
THANK YOU.
