Hi i have scored an overall 59 percentage in my boards and i am of obc-NCL category if i manage to get 99 percentile in jee mains can i get into nsut ??

Prachi Kumari 9th Sep, 2024

Hello,

With a 99 percentile in JEE Mains and being from the OBC-NCL category, you have a strong chance of getting admission into NSUT (Netaji Subhas University of Technology). However, your chances also depend on factors like the branch you choose, home state quota, and category rank. For highly competitive branches like Computer Science (CSE), the cutoffs are usually higher, but your OBC-NCL status will help.

For other branches, a 99 percentile should offer a good chance. You can check previous years' cutoffs for NSUT under the OBC-NCL category through the Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) portal for more clarity.

Hope it helps !

mjaisinghani62 15th Jul, 2024

Hello Dinesh

Your score is good but it's difficult to predict that you will get mbbs seat in Amritha university with 555 marks as neet cut off 2024 is too high . Cut off vary each year and also it depends upon various factors such as number of candidates appeared in exam,  Toughness level of exam,  seat intake and previous year's cut off etc.

Neet cut off for general category is 50th percentile ie score between 720-164.

For sc, st and obc category it is 40th percentile ie score between 163-129.
