Shilu Singha 15th Jul, 2022

Hello!

No, you are not eligible to pursue it after completing your 12th class with PCB with computer science as optional subject. The eligibility criteria for pursuing Computer Science Engineering is that candidates must have successfully completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks from physics, chemistry, and mathematics as compulsory subjects. However, the eligibility criteria differs from college to college.

Hope this answers your query!

What is the major difference between private engineering college and government engineering college students in india?

Micky 15th Jul, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

The government engineering colleges are run solely by the government. While private aided colleges are run by trusts but they receive funds from the government. Private engineering colleges are run entirely by private trusts.

Coming to engineering, I would recommend LPU in private universities and IITs in public universities in India.

LPU offers engineering in CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. I recommended my cousin to do B.Tech from LPU itself.

The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA.

Scholarships/Financial Assistance: You can get scholarships based on LPUNEST, JEE (Main), Toppers of Education Board., Financial Aid - Need-Based, Financial Aid for Serving/ Retired Defence/ CAPF/ Para- Military Personnel and their dependents., Financial Aid to Orphans, Financial Aid to Persons with Certain Disabilities.

I'm available if you need help with this.

All the best!!

In Future, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING is good?

Micky 15th Jul, 2022

Hi,

Mechanical engineers are generalists and work on a very diverse range of projects. They’re involved in just about every kind of device, vehicle, machine, power system or manufactured product. Their expertise applies to anything that needs knowledge of:

  • properties of materials, strength being one of many
  • flow of fluids - through pipes or around cars, ships and airplanes
  • assemblies where parts rotate, like an engine or electric motor
  • structures where parts don’t move, like a car body
  • what happens when you deform a structure, like a car in a crash
  • flow of heat, like in a engine, refrigerator or power plant
  • manufacturing anything, from a rubber duck to an ocean liner
  • making replacement parts for humans as well as machines
  • using math, computers and data to create, simulate and operate all the above

This is the overall future scope of mechanical engineering.

I'm available if you need help with this.

Good luck!!

Can i get Computer Science / Computer Engineering in any branch of NMIMS with 3233 rank ?

krati2004 15th Jul, 2022

Hello,

It is very difficult for you to get into NMIMS with Computer Engineering. To get a seat in NMIMS Computer engineering branch you need to score below 1000 rank or to be more precise below 600 rank, If you are willing to take admission in Mumbai campus. For the other campuses the range varies but still goes up to 2000 rank only. So your rank is too high to get a CSE seat. You can look for the other branches if you want.

Thank You!
