after msc(tech) in engineering physics from nit warangal can they are eligible for cisr net physical science? and which is better msc physics or msc(tech) engineering physics??

prince2019ad 3rd Nov, 2020

Hope you are doing good.

let me get straight to the point and tell you that he has you would be eligible for physical science exam of CSIR NET. There would be no problem.

Also MSc tech in engineering physics and msc physics are a bit different.

if you do not want to go into the research field and want a course which is highly industry-specific then you should choose MSc tech in engineering physics.

Most industrial and manufacturing companies would prefer a MSc tech in engineering physics over a MSc physics candidate. Also once in a while government agencies like ISRO and DRDO have specialised vacancies only for MSc tech in engineering physics.

I hope I had cleared your doubt if you have any more questions you can ask them in the comments section.

How is Engineering physics at IITs .what are the average and highest pakage. I am confused between aerospace engineering and engineering physics?

shravyamdsce 2nd Nov, 2020

Hi Aspirant,

Engineering Physics is definitely a good option at IITs in the terms of academics and Placement.

Average package varies from 3 lakhs in the new IITs to 8 lakhs in old IITs and Highest package is also good.

But, compare with the Aerospace Engineering, first of all your passion and interest matters.

Aerospace is mostly applied to mechanical engineering. If you do a mechanical engineering major with some aerospace classes on the side, you can work as an aerospace engineer. Aerospace starts with a huge passion for aero and space domain.

Engineering physics requires you to take more math and theoretical physics classes than the typical engineer.

Hope this information will help you to make the difference.

what are the difference of engineering science and engineering physics course in iit colleges? which course is best?

keerthana sreekumar 23rd Oct, 2020

Hello,

Engineering science:  This program generally focuses on the general application of various combinations of mathematical and scientific principles which include analysis and evaluation of engineering problem. This will apply to the  field research like human behaviour, biology, statistics etc.

Engineering physics: In this program mainly focus on the advance physics topic just like physics major . Mainly tends to work on the technology and science .

Both the courses are good, but engineering science is an interdisciplinary course,so more door is open for careers. But does not mean another course does not have career. However, it is up to your interset in the subject and field.

madhur 20th Oct, 2020
Hello Aspirant ,
I think IIT Bombay would be the best choice after all it is among one of the topmost best IIT ( generally ranked higher than Delhi ) .
Also the median salary for your qouted Couse is around 15 lakhs where as it's around 10 for one at Delhi.
You should go for it without any doubt .
O hope this helps.

Madhur
