Engineering Physics
Hi Aspirant,
To start with it is a great score to get below 100th rank in jee advanced . Considering the cutoff for the IIT bombay , a person below 100th rank will definitely be qualified and counselling rounds have already been started. Round 5 is yet to be announced but the closing rank of Round 4 is said to be 1101 for engineering physics department

ALL THE BEST
Hope you are doing good.
let me get straight to the point and tell you that he has you would be eligible for physical science exam of CSIR NET. There would be no problem.
Also MSc tech in engineering physics and msc physics are a bit different.
if you do not want to go into the research field and want a course which is highly industry-specific then you should choose MSc tech in engineering physics.
Most industrial and manufacturing companies would prefer a MSc tech in engineering physics over a MSc physics candidate. Also once in a while government agencies like ISRO and DRDO have specialised vacancies only for MSc tech in engineering physics.
I hope I had cleared your doubt if you have any more questions you can ask them in the comments section.
Dear aspirant
Yes you can do Msc in Astrophysics. Because Physics are mostly related to the Astrophysics.
B.tech in Aerospace engineering students can also do Msc in Astrophysics. This subject combines lot of discipline thats why you have to study very hard.
All the best.
Engineering Physics is definitely a good option at IITs in the terms of academics and Placement.
Average package varies from 3 lakhs in the new IITs to 8 lakhs in old IITs and Highest package is also good.
But, compare with the Aerospace Engineering, first of all your passion and interest matters.
Aerospace is mostly applied to mechanical engineering. If you do a mechanical engineering major with some aerospace classes on the side, you can work as an aerospace engineer. Aerospace starts with a huge passion for aero and space domain.
Engineering physics requires you to take more math and theoretical physics classes than the typical engineer.
Hope this information will help you to make the difference.
Hello aspirant ,
details for engineering physics placement are -
The percentage of student are placed - 40.00%
HIGHEST PACKAGE OFFERED - 43.31 (in LPA)
AVERAGE PACKAGE OFFERED - 29.16 (in LPA)
LOWEST PACKAGE OFFERED -15.00 (in LPA)
*LPA - Lakh Per Annum
thnak you...
Hey friend!
If you want to choose college then go for IIT Bombay and but if you want to branch specific than ECE in IIIT hyderabad is very great option as compared to IIT Bombay engineering physics . Placement opportunities are more or less same in both colleges . So you should go for IIIT hyderabad ECE as you will have a lot of opportunities in both government and private sector .

All the best friend!
Hi Vinod,
Let's carry out some quick comparisons,,
If you are getting both of them then IIT Mandi will be definitely a good option.

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!
Hello,
Engineering science: This program generally focuses on the general application of various combinations of mathematical and scientific principles which include analysis and evaluation of engineering problem. This will apply to the field research like human behaviour, biology, statistics etc.
Engineering physics: In this program mainly focus on the advance physics topic just like physics major . Mainly tends to work on the technology and science .
Both the courses are good, but engineering science is an interdisciplinary course,so more door is open for careers. But does not mean another course does not have career. However, it is up to your interset in the subject and field.
