The admission into BA English Honours is based on either merit or entrance exam. You must of completed your 10+2 with minimum 50 percentage to 60 percentage (depends on your Category and College you choose to join) in your 10+2 from a recognised Board.

Hey Gaurav,

I did not understand your question very clearly that for what calculation you need to exclude your marks of English.. If you need to calculate top four subject's marks then you need to take the highest four subject's marks it is not mandatory that you have to exclude

The eligibility criteria for BA Hons in English in Delhi University includes the following:

  • Candidates need to have 55% marks in English.
  • Apart from it, candidates need to 55% aggregate in English and other three subjects mentioned in the list A.

Hello aspirant,

There will be no deduction of marks in your case because you already have English as your core/elective subjects. A deduction is only done when you don't include the subjects in which you are specialising.

Dear Aspirant,

No, you wouldn't get any relaxation according to me. You will be given admission on the basis of your best of 4 percentage criterion only. You must be thinking you have scored Excellent marks in English and that's true for sure but sadly it will not help you

The eligibility criteria for Bachelors in psychology is passing 10+2 from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks, so you are eligible to fill the application form but after this you have to give an entrance test. Ambedkar University does not give admission in this course on basis of

Hello Ranveer,

Yes, you are eligible to study Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course after completion of degree in Physics, Chemistry and English. Mathematics subject is not compulsory or necessary in graduation to study MCA course. But in 10+2 you must have Mathematics subject to write MCA CET exam.

Almost both B.A English and B.A Honours English courses are similar except there will be change in few subjects that's it. If you want variation from General BA course then you can go for BA honours specialization course. Course fees is similar for both the courses. Average course
