Which subject marks are added to get the sum of top 20 percentile in Maharashtra board i have subject like PCM,English, Electronics (200 marks),EVS (50 marks)

To calculate top 20 percentile for Maharashtra ya any other board five subject will considered

  1. physics
  2. Chemistry
  3. Mathematics
  4. A language
  5. Any subject other than the above four

If the candidate has more than one 5th paper, the one with higher marks will be considered.

For BA Hons ( Political Science ) Hindi would be considered in best of four while I passed 12th from ISC English Medium Board & Scored 400 out of 400 in 4 Subjects - History , Pol. Science , BST & Psychology !! i got 98 in Hindi & 91 in English with Nainital District Topper

Actual you have not mention in which college you want to get admission,sweat is quite difficult to tell whether Hindi would be considered in best four or not. Because each college or each University have some different rules according the best of four.

Your percentage of best four is 94.75.

If you are pursuing the course in the same field which was in your class 12th, then there will be no deduction and if you are choosing the different course from your stream then there will be some deduction.

As per the board criteria for NITs admissions, a general/ OBC category candidate is required to score an aggregate of at least 75% in his/ her respective board exams. There is a relaxation of 10% for SC/ST Category candidates. Calculating your aggregate percentage, it equates to 68%. So, you are

Hello Aspirant!!!

To take admission in any of IITs, NITs, CFTIs, IIITs, you need to have a minimum aggregate of 75% in this five subjects.

  1. Physics
  2. Mathematics
  3. Chemistry
  4. English
  5. Any other subject

Regarding EVS, you can confirmed by calling to Vashi Board, Maharashtra.

For St. Stephens BA(H) History program. While calculation of Best of four --- 1.Is History must be included. 2. Is One language English must within BF? 3. If History replaced by some other subject in which candidate has scored better than History. Than there shall be deduction of 2.5 % or not?

If you want admission in BA(H) History program you need to have history as a subject in your best 4 along with English. If you are from some other stream and you have not included History in the best 4 then you will have to bear a deduction
