Can English, Hindi, and PCM be taken for top 20 percentile criteria fulfilling in JEE Mains?

mjaisinghani62 29th Feb, 2020

Hello aspirant

No, you can not take two languages for top 20% criteria .  English is mandatory.

Your main  percentage will be decided by one language subject that is English and other  four subjects in which you get high scores. And remaining subjects become additional whose marks will not be added to your main percentages.

The subject you would score lowest will automatically be excluded.

I am a student of humanities stream with (pol. science ,geography ,english ,hindi and mass media studies) as my subjects...I want to pursue pol. science hons from DU but I know that marks of mass media will not be counted in best of four so can two language subjects be counted in best of four !?

Neha Kanwar 13th Mar, 2020

Hy Priya ,

No you cannot include two language subjects in best 4 criteria as the rule of University of Delhi says that you should include one language and other three academic subjects. So you won't be considered eligible for getting admission on including two language subjects.
