Mock test pattern is actually to test your system capabilities and the other procedures. It is not necessary that you have to make a good result on it but it is absolutely necessary to focus on your faults here. The admission will be conducted based on the the main entrance examination. For local students you have to score 45% in HSC and for others it is 55% to appear on the entrance examination.
