my son born on 14 april 2007 can he eligible for sainik 2022-2023 entrance exam

Shalini Parimal 22nd Jul, 2021

Hello,

Yes, your son is eligible for class 9 All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination  (AISSEE) in the year 2022. However he won't be eligible in year 2023. The eligibility criteria for AISSEE  clearly suggests that student's age should be between 13-15 years, as on March 31, 2022. Since his is over 15 in year 2023, he is eligible till the year 2022 for AISSEE .

For more clarifications regarding this refer the link below,

what to prefer thapar coe or vit vellore cse specialisation in information security in category 2?

Aditya 30th Aug, 2021

Hi aspirant,

In my opinion CSE with specialization in information security at Vellore Institute of technology will be a better option than coe at Thapar University. VIT currently ranks 15 in the NIRF engineering rankings while it is around 26th for Thapar University. You will though not found much difference in infrastructure, faculties, labs and other necessities as both are excellent in this field.

The main reason behind my inclination towards VIT are the return of investments. The fee structure for coe at Thapar University for this session is close to 4.5lacs yearly while it is 3.03 lpa at VIT. The placements at both the colleges for cse are over 95 percent with an average 7-8 lacs at VIT and 6.5 at Thapar University.

Hope it helps!!

Hello sir,I got 101marks in amrita phase3 entrance exam do I get c.s.e in banglore campus or coimbatore campus.

Sohamsengupta8 21st Jul, 2021

Hello STudent

You have got 101 marks in AEEE. To get CSE branch in Bangalore/ Coimbatore campus of Amrita Vishwa vidyapeetham candidate is to secure at least 60% marks in the entrance examination that is 110 plus marks out of 180 marks.Actually the cutoff trend changes every year.so it is quite difficult to predict all about that. And you also have not mention if you have state quota or not. From some previous year cut-off data we can conclude that if you belongs to state quota you can get college branches under 15k ranks.and it is very obvious that computer science and engineering is the most demanded branch. That's why I have to score much much better to get.

Still there is a little chance to get CSE branch.you may can get other branches in this marks.
