Environmental Engineering
See both of the course work for the same goal i.e., to conserve energy and reduce the environmental hazards as well as to create awareness among the public. Now if you are interested to pursue environment science as a career then I would say you can definitely pursue that. The best course will dependent on your interest and choice. If you want to go for academics and if you want to be a professor or a researcher then Environment Science will be a better option for you. As it is a more theoretic subject you will get a lot of scope in the theoretic as well as experimental side of Environmental Science.
Now if you want to do job as well as to pursue Environmental science then I would recommend you to go for Environmental Engineering. The course is all about the applied environmental science and to design instruments in order to conserve the environment we have. Some of the trending fields are Green Building, Energy and pollution control, Pollution reduction mechanism etc.
So based on your desire you have to choose the course. Both the course have equal opportunity.
