I am afraid to say that with 76.22 percentile in EWS Category in JEE Mains paper 2 and 2876 rank in EWS, you would not be able to get NITs or any other decent college. I will suggest you to try getting admission from another examination.

On such marks and category your son has very low chances of getting any GMC for MBBS under state quota of Maharashtra according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that last year the lowest cut-off marks was 539 for Government Medical College, Gondia under state quota for General category. If this is your jee mains rank, then in ews category it is quite low, in counselling give preference to some top nits but choose the lower branches, but go for all the branches for the low ranked nits.
