EWS category
HEY STUDENT!
So as you mentioned, your percentile in JEE MAINS 2022 is 94.99 and this might lead to a rank of ~76k in CRL. The actual rank may vary according to number of students along with the final official rank list.
Since, you've completed your 11th and 12th from Jharkhand, you'll be eligible to take admission as home state quota from Jharkhand itself. Considering the reservation in EWS category, you have chances to get admission to colleges mentioned below which are based on previous year data.
YOU CAN FIND MORE OPTIONS FOR COLLEGES BY USING THE COLLEGE PREDICTOR LINK. I'LL ALSO ADVICE YOU TO PREPARE FOR SESSION 2 OF JEE MAINS AND IMPROVE YOUR SCORE TO GET INTO GOOD NIT OR OTHER ENGINEERING COLLEGES.

Dear aspirant,
As per my view obc category candidates are at an edge compared to the ews candidates because there is not much difference between the cut offs of general category and obc candidates.
The cut off difference between ews and general candidates is only 3-4k whereas obc category candidate sees a huge difference between general and obc candidates which is around 5-6k.
However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
Hello Aspirant,
Congratulations, you have scured a good rank. As you have got 94.99 percentile in JEE mains your general rank will be around 55000 and your EWS category rank will be around 6600 .
You will not able to get top branch in top NITs. Also, keep in mind that getting a seat will depend on varies factors such as number of students applied for the same branch, performance of the students, category of the students, home state etc.
In the following NITs and IIITs where you can get admission based on your rank:

No, you can not register yourself in the cap round registration as a ews category candidate because you have already registered yourself in the general category . You are not eligible to do so. You should have applied as ews category in the beginning only.
Ews candidate should fulfill the following criteria:-
Hi there! In response to your query, the application form and registration form are crucial documents while applying for reservations. Generally if you haven't filled the EWS information then it would be very hard to actually get a seat under that reservation even if you have a certificate now. Although it is best if you get in touch with the university officials explaining your situation and trying to find a solution, however the chances would be less.
Hope this answer helps; best wishes
It is quite difficult to predict the exact rank based on your given marks because the rank Vs marks keeps on changing depending upon various factors such as :
** Number of candidates appeared for examination.
** Top score for that particular year.
** Total number of seats available.
And some more factors, therefore your actual rank in AP EAMCET 2022 might vary with slight variations.
As per the marks mentioned by you in the question your rank in AP EAMCET 2022 is expected to be around 5000-10000 .
But note that this is not your exact rank because it is not yet released and the rank predicted above is on the basis of previous year's data.
You can use AP EAMCET 2022 College Predictor toll to predict the colleges that you can get based upon your AP EAMCET 2022 rank. You can use AP EAMCET College predictor from the link given below :-

Good Luck!!
Hello Sai
Depending on the JEE Main and JEE Advance cutoffs, you can register for JOSAA Counseling if you manage to pass the exam by clearing the cutoff. The cutoff for the EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category, it should be noted.
If you are able to meet the JEE Main Cutoff, you will be qualified to take the JEE Advance exam, which is the admissions test for the aforementioned IITs.
Nevertheless, it is typically advisable to fill up the options in accordance with the preferences of the institutions and departments; for instance, if CSE at NIT Hyderabad is your top priority.
Thanks
If you have a ranking of 20,000 in Economically Weaker Section and want to get an admit in Female quota then you can only get lower branches like mining engineering, mining safety engineering etc. in some remote NITs or IIITs like:
NIT Mizoram NIT Nagaland NIT Meghalaya NIT Silchar
IIIT Bhagalpur IIIT Una etc.
Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
See your category in JEE-Main application form can only be changed during correction window and now it cannot be corrected so you will have to proceed with the same category i.e. EWS.
Because correction window for session 1 was already live few days back and now that too has been closed so unfortunately you are quite late and now no correction can be done in JEE-Main 2022 session 1 application form.
Now within few days the application process for session 2 of JEE-Main 2022 would commence.
Now if you have any error in your JEE-Main session 1 application form then you shall proceed with it and if you think that it can cause you a lot in future then you should reach out to NTA regarding your issue.
However if you are an EWS candidate then it will be beneficial for you as it is a reservation category and cut-offs for you would be quite lower as compared to that of General candidates so I would recommend you to go with it if you have proper supporting documents.
I hope you got the point.
Good Luck!!!
