Rank of a student is depends on various factors like the difficulty level of exam , number of student appeared for the exam etc. T get admission into NITs you need to participate in JoSAA counselling .If we talk about NIT Puducheery to get admission into this NIT the last year closing rank for CSE branch rank is 2914 for Oustside state student in 6th round of JoSAA Counselling . And the highest closing rank irrespective of any branch is 8714 for civil engineering.
