Anurag Khanna 30th Aug, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

As per the marks mentioned by you in the question your rank in AP EAMCET 2021 is expected to be in the range of 20000-30000 .  But note that this is not your exact rank because it is not yet released and the rank predicted above is on the basis of previous year's data.

As the rank Vs marks keeps on changing depending upon various factors such as :

** Number of candidates appeared for examination.

** Top score for that particular year.

** Total number of seats available.

And some more factors, therefore your actual rank in AP EAMCET 2021 might vary with slight variations.

You can use AP EAMCET 2021 College Predictor toll to predict the colleges that you can get based upon your AP EAMCET 2021 rank. You can use AP EAMCET College predictor from the link given below :-

Hi, The income of my parents is less than 8 lakh and does not own any residential plot but my grandmother owns a residential plot of 1200 square feet can my family (Me ,Mother & Father) apply for EWS reservation. My Grandmother have 3 sons ( one is my father)

Karam Vir 2nd Jul, 2021

Hey,

To be eligible for EWS Certificate, your annual family income should be less than INR 8 Lakhs and also the residential family property should be less than 1000 square feet. Under the 'EWS' Category, you need to note that the 'Family' implies the parents/siblings/spouse of the candidate/applicant applying for the EWS Category. So, you can entitle the EWS Certificate as your parents do not own this property.

is general category going to be affected by obc reservation, ews reservation in AIQ medical seats in government medical college

Suchana Datta 29th Jul, 2021

Hy,

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Undergraduate and Postgradute- NEET UG, PG Admissions 2021 will have reservations from this academic year. As per the recent orders by Government of India, GOI, 27% reservation for Other Backward Class (OBC) and 10% reservation for Economically Weaker Section, EWS has been implemented. This reservation under the All India Quota is likely to benefit about 5,500 students. All Medical, Dental Courses (MBBS / MD / MS / Diploma / BDS / MDS), will fall under the umbrella of this reservation.  Because of this , and that us obvious that general category will get affected. As the number of seats will reduced in general category , however students will increase day by day . Not to mention , the competition will be very high in NEET .

So , wish you luck.

Hopes this helps

i got 95.71 in jee mains 2021 ,inhave ews reservation . can i get in nit silchar with ece branch

Anurag Khanna 28th May, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 43887 - 49335 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that :-

Closing EWS rank for NIT Silchar was :-

  • Electronics and Communication Engineering branch - 9857 (Home state quota)
  • Electronics and Communication Engineering branch - 2833 (Other state quota)

And your EWS rank is expected to be around 6000-7000.

So you have good chances to get NIT Silchar with ECE branch only if you have Home state quota otherwise not.

But yes if you improve your percentile in any further session of JEE-Main like around 98 or more then you might have a shot at NIT Silchar with ECE.

You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
