To get admission in NITs or IITS, candidates need to qualify jee mains/advanced with atleast 75% in 10+2 (relaxed this year-2020). And if your percentage is less than 75% and you want to give improvement exam to meet that criteria, then you can give imrovement exam of your choice
I dont think there will be any problem in your degree. If the marksheet of one exam is issued before the another then also no problems will occur as it is well explainable and will not hamper any of your future prospects.

The application forms for CAT 2021 can be filled starting from first week of August 2021.
The notifications for CAT 2021 will be released in July 2021, and the registrations will start in the first week of August and end around last week of September.
