You can add any number of additional subjects in your secondary course before giving examination and this should be done at the time of registration for the exam along with the main core subjects, there is a space provided for the additional subjects at the registration portal.

is there is different in question papers of GATE examination for different branches like for biotechnology students , there is more coding questions or biology related questions ?? also ,what about negative marking in GATE examination??

BBOSE is a recognised board and it's certificate is valid.To get admission in IITs/NITs/GFTIs a candidate must have passed 10+2 or it's equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.Candidates belonging to General category must have passed with atleast 75% aggregate and for SC/ST it is 65% aggregate.
