Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi
Hi Anoop,
It’s highly unlikely to get admission in FMS (DU) with 85 percentile in CAT. The CAT cutoff to get shortlisted for the admission process at FMS is usually more than 98 percentile. The B-school also considers sectional cutoff and gives different weightage to each section’s score for the shortlisting purpose. The shortlisted candidates will appear for Extempore speech and Personal Interview rounds. The final selection will be based on the performance in CAT, Extempore speech and Personal Interview. The total number of seats for the MBA FT programme is 200.

FMS Delhi takes the admission through CAT entrance exam, you require more than 98% in the exam. You should have minimum 50% in your graduation as a general category & 45% as a reserved category.
The Selection to the course will be based on Personal interview, Group discussion and CAT score Shortlisted candidates are then called for a Group discussion and Personal interview round. The final selection is based on the cumulative performance of the candidate in the CAT Score as well as the group discussion and personal interview round.
Good Luck!
Hi Bittu,
I believe you have secured 99 percentile in CAT and wish to seek admission in FMS Delhi. Now, I can also observe that you have dropped a year before class 12. The good news is that you have a good chance of getting FMS Delhi, based on your CAT score.
The marks scored in class 10 and 12 matter, but it is graded on a point-system, and I don't think you need to worry about them.
All the very best!
Hi,
The form will be released sometime in October, Most probably in the first week.
Hello Shruti,
To get admisaion in Delhi FMS you have to give GMAT exam and score minimum 650 marks to get admission in this college.
All the best.
Hello Ashutosh,
If you work hard on your CAT percentile , then you can definitely get a call.
But, being a little practical, i would suggest you to keep other options open . The candidates selected in IIMs or FMS have a good profile which may prove to be negative point for you due to your scores.
Even then is you manage to get 99 percentile or above and go well through the GD and PI rounds, You can get the aspirational colleges.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Tanushree Seth
