There are many people who excel at two sections in CAT and score less in one (mostly unintentionally and/or because of time management issues) and nonetheless such aspirants end up in top colleges since there overall CAT percentile is decent. So I would suggest you not to give up hope

There's a reason people like an IIM tag. It still carries certain weight in the market.
IIM ABC virtually started at the same time, if not later, as FMS and they are the preferred choice of >95% of those who convert both. So it's safe to infer that ABC values

Yes Debayan you are fully eligible for MBA admission as the basic requirement that is needed is a graduation degree and that you have already done. So just involve yourself now in preparation for cracking CAT in case you want to go these prestigious Institutions.

Does Fms gives weightage to past academic??

No. FMS gives weightage to only CAT score (85%), Extempore(5%) and Personal Interview(10%). It doesn't consider your past scores of 10th, 12th or graduation but they may ask about your scores in the personal interview and The candidates should be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university or institute
