As you know that the cutoffs keep on changing for all the colleges but after doing my research what I can conclude is that you stand around 80% chance of getting admission in Fergusson College Pune. Your name might come in the third list of the college but if you are a resident of Maharashtra state then definitely you can get admission in Fergusson College otherwise the cutoff might be higher for you as they provide reservation to the state students.

So I would suggest you to fill up the form of fergusson college Pune and also keep a backup option with you as well.

Hiiii Prateek!!!!! Admission to Fergusson College is through entrance exam, its an entrance based exam and you are required to give the exam in order to get admission there in whichever course you are interested in. They do take direct admission. Good luck!!!!

Dear aspirant,
The career choice you made for your studies is great according to me since psychology is paving way for many as succesful career.
The eligibility criteria for this college in this particular course is that students who have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from any recognized board are eligible to apply for admission.Admission is based on Cut Offs.
Also, The college has its own placement cell which helps the students in counseling as well as gets the employers into the campus for recruitment.

According to last year's dates , I think the procedure will start near these dates only .
Last year's important dates were
31 May 2018: Availability of application formonline. (24*7)
31 May 2018:On-line Registration & Application form filling. (24*7)
10 June 2018: Last date to fill online form (up till 5pm)
12 June 2018: Display of general list of applicants (provisional) by 2 pm on college website and college notice board.
13 June 2018: submission of queries if any by 2pm
15 June 2018: Display of first merit list by 11am on college websites and Notice board.

Hello,
To know whether a college is good or bad, you need to have an experience studying there. Since you have only read about the negativities, let's see the positive side of the college.
According to my opinion, the teaching must be immense as many eminent academicians and scientists visit the college to give away lectures. An observation internship program is also held. The faculty members of your department are members of National and International Committees. Also, there is the MAANAS counselling centre which holds aptitude tests, career counselling and also personal counselling. You will have a research centre at gour disposal too.
A college good for one student may prove to be hectic for another. So I would recommend you to choose you decision carefully.

Do I require to give any entrance exam to take admission in BSc in geology or BSc in microbiology in Fergusson College Pune?

Hello Alok,

Admissions to the UG courses of Fergusson College are merit based.

For admission in B.Sc in Microbiology or Geology the eligibility criteria is that you should have passed class 12th in the Science stream.

So you will not have to give any entrance tests.

AIM Kolkata call students based on CAT score.

Minimum of 50% in CAT. It has 80% reservation for Defence personals children's & 20% for general category. Right now last date to apply is over. You can apply next year.
through common admission test. Go to the site fill the form they gonna call you for the group discussion and personal interview then.

Yes, Fergusson college in Pune offers BA in political science course. This is a 3 year course and full time. The total fee will be around INR 5,560. For the first year, the fees is around INR 2,090.
