Both are excellent colleges with great placements, industry recognition and alumni base. But XLRI slightly edges forward due to its superior brand value. JBIMS though has very low fees structure.
It's a decent option to pursue mba. It has AAA+ ranking on careers360 website. But if you can get Mumbai campus then it will be an advantage. You van go through this link to find reviews about the college.

Yes, Your academic records matter to get admission in top IIM & top B-School but if you have any extracurricular activities, work experience & well score in entrance exams then it will give you the benefit and your Graduation marks will not effect. so do hard work on your exam
