Admission Procedure for BFA
Only the candidates securing 50% or more marks in the Aptitude Test will be considered for admission to the Foundation. The Final selection of the candidates will be made strictly in order of merit in the following manner:-
Weightage of 60% marks will be given for Aptitude Test (as listed below).
Weightage of 40% marks will be given for marks secured by the candidate in the 10+2 or equivalent examination.
The Aptitude Test will consist of the following papers:-
Marks – 60 Time – 1½ hours

As per the Information Bulletin, 2.5% marks will be deducted if you include Fine Arts in the bets four. Eligibility Criteria and Combination of Subjects for Calculation of Merit is as follows:
Selection shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination including one language and three best subjects as per the following: An aggregate of 45% or more in English/Hindi and combination of best three among the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies/ Commerce. Inclusion of any subject from List B other than mentioned above in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 1% per subject on the aggregate. ( To Check the subjects in List B and List A, kindly refer to the page 5 and 6 of the information bulletin using the given link: http://www.du.ac.in/du/uploads/COVID-19/28062020_UG.pdf ) Inclusion of any subject other than those in List A and List B in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 2.5% per subject on the aggregate of the Best Four.
Since fine arts is not listed neither in List A nor in List B, so 2.5% marks will be deducted. You should also confirm the same from the official authorities.
