Hello i am a diploma in civil engineering and working as Junior Engineer in central govt department since last 11 years.I want to do my graduation in food science and technology. pls brief me which is better - bsc or btech.and can i have lateral entry?
Dear leaner,
It's better to go with btech as your are from polytechnic you have a chance of learning easy with appropriate basics, why another option if you have 100% of chances to get in btech
You can do food technology in btech as well b sc also
As everyone know that btech is a professional degree where as bsc is a degree where everyone sees it like a normal degree ,the career in food technology with btech is vast , after completion of your course one can cope with government as well private sector
The jobs like tech in food industry
Testing in labs, and quality of food products etc
Some companies recruits the students right after degree ends
Amul
Cadbury
Britannia
Nestle .
Food technology in btech and bsc are same , by the deal is what are you good at
Go on with passion, to reach your passion you have to take smart decisions also .
All the best

Good Luck!!
iiit bhagalpur is best Or better and infrastructure and food lab my course is cse and fee 260000 course and hostel collage is better to me and money I will study educational is good in the Institute
Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bhagalpur is one of the Indian Institutes of Information Technology, Bhagalpur, Bihar. The institute began operating at the 50-acre campus of the Bhagalpur College of Engineering in July 2017. It is being mentored by Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.
- Fee structure: INR 8.33 lakh (Total fees)
- As the college is started from 2017, not a single batch is passed out yet from this college.
- As it is associated by IIT Guwahati, it can assumed that placements opportunities will be good.
- The College's course is updated in all relevant subjects and also included market-demand oriented subjects such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, as well as planning a campaign on social values.
- The college has all relevant facilities like wi-fi, library, hostel ,playgrounds, seminar halls and many more.
In my opinion, you should try other IIIT. Consider it as a last option. If you don't have any other IIT or IIIT as a option, then definitely you should go for this. Because It is an IIIT, and you can expect better placements opportunities in future for your batch as compared to other colleges.
