You should passed 12th with pcm and through jee mains you can apply for  food technology branch in IIT ,NIT and IIIT .Many private engineering colleges also take admission through jee mains and state engineering exam .

The basic eligibility to pursue  in Food Technology is to pass 12th with 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology
