In order to take admission in this college for M.Tech programme you have to appear for GATE exam.
If the seats still remain vacant, the same will be filled on the basis of the merit of entrance examination conducted by the University plus weightage of Sports.
To be eligible to take admission in food technology you should have B.Tech/B.E with at least 55% marks(52.25% for SC candidates of Haryana) or M.sc with at least 55% marks (52.25% for SC candidates of Haryana).

You can take admission into Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai for Food Technology through MHT CET. But not with only PCB marks. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects.

B.Tech in food technology is a professional course and it is a study of food science in various activities happening in the food industry on the other hand B.Sc in Food Technology deals with the study of scientific principles involved in the food production as well as preservation.
If we compare the scope of both the courses then B.tech in food technology has good scope in term of jobs, placement and packages.
