Food engineers, also known as agricultural and food scientists, combine engineering concepts with microbiology, chemistry and other sciences to create the best ways to make processed foods tasty, healthy and safe.

As you mentioned that you are wanting to take admission in food technology in ICT Mumbai so let me tell you that you need to secure atleast 96-97 percentile in jee mains to get into ICT Mumbai.

But these cut offs varies according to the jee mains applicants and also number of applicants who are applying for ICT Mumbai. It's safer to keep your percentile atleast close to 97 percentile. Other factors which decides the cut offs includes choices filled by the candidates, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the examination.
