Yes, you can opt BSc. Food technology.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent in relevant discipline with an aggregate of at least 50% (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ ST Category) marks from a recognised board.
  • Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Home Science in Class 12.

Admission will be based on entrance exam conducted by University or merit based.

May be or may not be you can get admission food technology in Techno main with 33000 rank in WBJEE. If you have any type of caste quota or management quota then there are some chances to get a seat in the campus of Techno main(Techno India Salt Lake) campus. So hope you will understand. There are three rounds of counselling food technology in Techno India salt Lake. Here the cutoff rank of previous year.

  • 22866- First round
  • 36584- Second round
  • 41108- Third round

So there is 50-50 possibilities to get a seat in this college.

In order to be eligible for this particular course,

You must have a 10+2 or equivalent in the Science stream.

You must select one of the following subjects: physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, or home science.
