Dr D Y Patil College in Navi Mumbai it's very popular college. It was established in 2002. This is the 3rd best college in Maharashtra. NIRF rank this college is 77th. There are so many courses are offered and food technology in BTech course one of them.
Due to research this college campus is very large. There are ac classrooms are present. Huge library available. 24 /7 open canteen and food quality is good here. There also hostel facility available with AC and nonAC. Food technology department is good here. There faculties are well educated and friendly. Placement also good here almost 80% students got placed here. So if you want to join this college you can surely admission this college. But this is private college so fees is quite high.

The eligibility criteria required for admission to B. Tech in Food Technology are given below:
The candidates must have passed 12th or an equivalent degree from a recognised institute/board.
The candidate must have opted for Mathematics and Physics as the major subjects in class 12th along with one of the optional subjects as Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology.
The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 60% (55% for the reserved candidates) in the qualifying examination.
The candidates who are appearing for the final exam or waiting for the final result can also apply for admission to B. Tech in Food Technology g course.
The total fees is around 3.41 lakhs.
