Candidates who have completed their 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as their subjects are eligible for Food technology course. So no with Bi.P.C you cannot go for food technology course. Students must have cleared 10+2 or an equivalent qualification from any board

Let me clear this to you.Bsc (3 year) student are not eligible for Gate .The eligibility for giving gate examination is that you must have pursued 4 years qualifying degree after 10+2 level.However Bsc degree holder in engineering,technology etc who have 4 years of study are eligible for

According to your question the branch food technology is not a renowned branch and very few colleges which are actually good colleges have this branch. Through josaa none of the nits have this branch or any of the IITs.
So, i would recommend you to join Jadavpur University

If we consider previous year cut off then closing rank for food technology was around 87535.And as you have scored such good percentile then you have chance to get gov. college but as you know cut off changes every year that 's why it would be tough
