Hope you are doing well. As per your query FMGE exam is not required if you are doing MBBS from India. But clearing FMGE test is mandatory for all for all doctors who have earned their MBBS degree from a foreign country excluding Australia, Canada, US, New Zealand

Hi !!

In general, yes it is essential to do internship in India after passing FMGE. But as of now ,Chinese medical colleges do provide internship and if you can provide an Official Internship Completion Letter to MCI, then only you will be exempted from this compulsory internship.

Yes, you are eligible for JIPMER PG, as 53% ( 50% 0r more ) in FMGE considered pass .

Eligibility for MD/MS course via JIPMER PG must requires an MBBS degree or any equivalent degree from the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC).

see fmge exam is conducts by national board of examination i.e NBE india. this is basically a registration exam which conducts by the nbe for students of India who have done mbbs courses from  foreign medical colleges. now coming to the schedule of the exam it happens two times

for fmge student there is no state quota in neet pg , is there any use of category quota for them ?

Yes, there is no state quota in  FMGE, but the category quota holds a significant role in FMGE exam. The category quota provides reservation to the candidates who fall under SC/ST/OBC/PwD.
