Yes you can take admission in Forensic but you have to fulfil some of criteria and we will discusses the procedure of Admission in Details .

Admission in most of the Forensic Science colleges will be on a merit-based selection system. Through the merit-based system, a candidate can get direct admission to the program depending on their 10+2 percentage and the cut-off prescribed by the institution. The application for admission will be available both on the college’s website as well as through their Admission Office. Some institutions, although may require the students to clear an entrance exam conducted by them.

Minimum or Basic Requirements for Admission

• The candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
• They should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and/or Maths as main subjects in 10+2.
• They should have scored a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in 10+2. Some of the institutes offer some relaxation to the reserved categories.

Merit Based Admission

Colleges like Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Swami Vivekananda University, etc take admissions based on merit. The candidates will have to go through the following step for applying to such institutes:

• Apply to the institute by filling up the application form, submitting the required documents for evidence, and paying the application fees.
• The college will release a merit list of selected students, after evaluating their previous academic scores.
• The shortlisted candidates will receive an offer letter.
• The students can enrol after accepting the offer letter within the provided deadline and paying the first instalment to secure their place.

Entrance Based Admission

Some top colleges & universities like Amity University, Noida, Lovely Professional University, University of Mumbai offer admission on the basis of entrance tests, conducted by them. Here are the steps of the admission process through entrances.

• The candidates can apply to the particular exam by filling the application form, uploading the required documents, and paying the application fees.
• The exam dates will be announced and the candidates can download the admit card and sit for the entrance exam.
• The college will release their cut-off and the candidates clearing the cut-off will be shortlisted and invited for counselling.
• The shortlisted candidates can choose their course during counselling and get their documents verified.
• They can enrol after paying the first instalment fees.

Yes you can apply for Bsc forensic science. The basic eligibility is to have 10 + 2 levels with good academic score and from recognised university. Some institues may conduct admission merit basis while some institutes may have their own entrance exams and now which college to choose depends upon your location and marks.

yes you can get admission for the course B.Sc forensic science as the basic eligibility criteria says candidate must have passed their 10+2 from recognized board with science stream subjects having physics, chemistry biology/mathematics and candidate must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60 percent marks in their 10+2 (this may vary institute to institute)

i hope you are doing great , so you want to pursue forensic science course and in confusion which branch you should take in your 11 th grade then i would suggest you to pick up the science stream to get eligible for forensic course in future, you can take science stream along with the subjects physics, chemistry , biology/mathematics , score of these three subjects will matter a lot.
