Can I join BSc in Forensic Science?

Hello aspirant,

To get admission in BSc Forensic science, you need to qualify 10+2 from a recognised board. The admission criteria varies from college to college. Some colleges consider your 10+2 marks and some colleges conduct their own entrance test. Top colleges for BSc in forensic science are-

Considering that you have interest in Forensic science and you have completed BHMS. It is a very good course for science students and after completing M.Sc in forensic science there are many career opportunities in Government sector, as well as Private sector.

Career opportunities in Government sector are:

> Crime Branch

> CID

> CBI

> Intelligence Bureau

These are some career opportunity in Government sector.

Career opportunity in Private sector:

> Private Detective agencies.

> Security service agency.

> Forensic Chemist.

These are some private jobs that you can opt for.
After BHMS, you can select higher studies or career according to your wish. Courses like M.D. (Homoeopathy), M.D in (Homoeopathic) (Materia Medica), M.D. (Homoeopathic) (Paediatrics), etc may be suitable for you. M.Sc courses like M.Sc. (Endocrinology), M.Sc. (Epidemiology), M.Sc. (Regenerative Medicine), etc are also good.

Otherwise, you can work as Homeopathic Doctor or Consultant in Hospitals or health care centers. Research firms and Pharmaceutical firms are also in need of BHMS graduates.

You have to complete your 10+2 examination from science branch for admission into UG degree. After completing a bachelor degree i.e. B.Sc, you can apply for the master degree that is M.Sc in Forensic Science.
