How much minimum rank i have to get free seat in kl University

monag2673 21st Aug, 2024

Securing a free seat at KL University, often referred to as a scholarship seat or a seat with fee waiver, typically requires achieving a high rank in the KL University Admission Test (KLUAT) or other entrance exams such as JEE Main or AP EAMCET, depending on the admission criteria.

Rank Requirements:

  1. KLUAT (KL University Admission Test): For the KLUAT, students with top ranks usually have a higher chance of receiving a free seat or significant fee waiver. Historically, achieving a rank within the top 500 to 1,000 in the KLUAT could make you eligible for a scholarship or fee waiver, but this can vary based on the number of applicants and the specific year.

  2. JEE Main/AP EAMCET: If you are using JEE Main or AP EAMCET scores, a high rank is crucial. Generally, a rank within the top 1,000 to 2,000 in these exams may qualify you for scholarship opportunities or fee waivers, depending on the policies in effect for the year you are applying.

  3. Scholarship Criteria: KL University offers various scholarship programs based on entrance exam ranks, academic performance, and other criteria. The specific rank required for a full fee waiver can vary each year, so it's essential to check the latest guidelines on KL University's official website or contact their admissions office.

Conclusion: To secure a free seat or fee waiver at KL University, aim for a top rank in the relevant entrance exam. For KLUAT, a rank within the top 500 to 1,000 is generally favorable. For JEE Main or AP EAMCET, a rank within the top 1,000 to 2,000 could increase your chances. Always verify the most current information with the university directly.

Question : Comprehension:
Read the given passage and answer the questions that follow.

Migaloo is by far one of the world’s most recognisable whales because he is completely white. Thanks to genetic sampling of Migaloo’s skin, scientists have identified that he’s male, and his albino appearance is a result of a variation in the gene responsible for the colour of his skin.
Simply by looking different, Migaloo has become an icon within Australia’s east coast humpback whale population. Indeed, Migaloo has his own Twitter account with over 10,000 followers and a website where fans can lodge sightings and learn more about humpback whales.
He was first discovered in 1991 off Byron Bay, Australia, and has since played hide and seek for many years, with many not knowing where or when he’ll show up next. He’s even surprised Kiwi fans by showing up in New Zealand waters.
With the last official sighting two years ago, the time has once again come for us to ask: Where is Migaloo?
Already this year, there have been false sightings, such as a near-white whale spotted off New South Wales. To make things more confusing, regular-looking humpbacks can trick whale watchers when they flip upside down due to their white bellies.

Question:
Where was Migaloo first discovered?

Option 2: Australia

Option 3: Jamaica

Question : Direction: In the following question, select the related word from the given alternatives.

Hot : Cold :: ?

Option 1: Summer : Sun

Option 2: Germs : Diease

Option 3: Light : Dark

Option 4: Thin : Big

Team Careers360 23rd Jan, 2024

Correct Answer: Light : Dark

Solution : Given:

Hot : Cold :: ?

The relationship is that hot is the opposite of cold. They are antonyms representing opposite temperature conditions.

Now, let's apply the same logic to all the options of the analogy:

Option first: Summer : Sun

The relationship here is that "summer" is associated with or characterized by the presence of the "sun." Summer is a season known for its warm and sunny weather. This analogy represents a relationship where one term is associated with or characteristic of the other.

Option second: Germs : Disease

The relationship here is that "germs" can cause or lead to "disease." Germs are microorganisms that can cause various diseases. This analogy represents a causal relationship where one term leads to the other.

Option third: Light : Dark

The relationship here is that "light" and "dark" are antonyms, representing opposite states of illumination or the presence/absence of light. This analogy follows the pattern of antonyms.

Option fourth: Thin : Big

The "Thin : Big" analogy does involve antonyms, but it may not follow the exact same pattern as "Hot : Cold" because they refer to different attributes. "Hot" and "Cold" both pertain to temperature, while "Thin" and "Big" relate to size or dimension.

So, the related word for "Hot : Cold" is "Light : Dark".

Hence, option third is correct.
