This will vary from person to person depending upon their dedicated time they are providing to master the language. At first , you have to know the basics of the language pretty well so that you will be able to increase your french vocabulary. French is one of the popular language precisely in Europe and it is quite easy to learn. You have to be very careful regarding the grammers of any language. Second , you should have enough knowledge of the second language too - the two languages or more which you are going to use . Generally any language takes a year or more learn completely with full devotions. Language is not just a medium of communication but also conveys one's culture.

Hello aspirant,

The eligibility criteria for TNPSC group 1 are as follows.

A candidate who has qualified education pattern 10+2+4.

Candidates in the final year can also apply for the exam

Irrespective of your second language you can apply for the posts in group 1. The only requirement in your educational qualification is that you should be appearing g final year or a graduate from a recognized university

The minimum pay scale for a student who has completed French upto B2 level is approximately around 5,00,000 - 7,00,000/- per annum. This also depends on the company you are working in with.

Mostly they are needed in call centre, to work in night shifts and asnwering to the calls.

You can also apply for a FRENCH EXPERT in big cities like Bangalore, Pune et cetera. This will increase your pay scale.

translator and interpreter have also evolved in the past years. apart from these, you can apply for foreign embassies if you successfully complete the course

Yeah! You can definitely get government jobs. Now as you have BEd you can apply for Primary school teaching. For Secondary and Higher secondary school an MSc is must. Now apart from this you can apply for any exam which have a criteria for graduate candidates in State PSC. Apart from this you can go for SSC CGL, UPSC CSE etc kind of exams to be an officer of the Central Government. SO you have a lot of scopes ahead and based on your interest you just have to choose the right path for you.

EFLU offers B.A. (hons.) in foreign languages in French. The university conduct a common online test for all the languages.

The questions will be asked from the sections- Foreign Language(French, , General Knowledge, Logical reasoning, English language.

To prepare for the exam, read news articles or magazines for the component on general knowledge, Arihant books for logical reasoning, and any of the grammar books for English grammar.

Which regular undergraduate course to do along with diploma in French language for better jobs in India

Hi Aspirant,

It all depends on you in which field you want to work in future. Because learning French is always an added bonus to any kind of courses you do. If you are interested in management or finance you can go for courses like BBA,BCom,etc., if you are interested in engineering and science you can go for courses like BE/Btech,Bsc,etc., if you are interested in going for like some arts related field you can for BA. Also you can give UPSC after that and work as IFS where you will be having an added bonus of learning French already.
