what are the job prospects for a 44 year old after completing a1 a2 b1 b2 levels of french

ojaswiyolo Student Expert 29th Dec, 2020

Hello

After completing an a1 a2 b1 b2 level of french you can apply for translator posts in mncs like HCL,TCS, WIPRO etc( for this you will have toclear the TFC or TAF exam),  write articles and posts for travel & tourism magazines and websites and much more but since you have mentioned the age factor (which probably might be a hindering factor) you can always work at education institutions. You can even start your own youtube channel to teach french if you want.

Another great option for you is translator, proofreader, interpreter, editor, content writer,  howevr for these you have to get an almost native level of proficiency over the language.

how many hours does it take to complete from A1 to B2 levels of French

theeanonymous 24th Dec, 2020
Hello Aspirant,

A1 -Beginner, A2- Elementary,B1-Intermediate and B2- Upper Intermediate. These are the levels and it is to be understood that learning a new language from scratch is not that easy. B2 level is where you will gain a decent fluency and lack of hesitation to speak. So it will depend upon your determination, eagerness and interest towards the language. So on an average rate or general sense, to go from A1 to B2 it may take around 1 year and above. It may go beyond that too depending upon how you are able to grasp or adapt to the language. If you are planning make a career out of it and earn well , you need to reach C level. You will have many job options after that.
