The application period for the FTII JET 2022 programme will open in August 2022. Every year, the Film & Television Institute of India (FTII) holds a national-level Joint Entrance Examination (JET) for the purpose of admitting students to the institute's various programmes. The FTII selects the candidates for admission to their different PG TV and Film Wings programmes using this exam. Candidates who pass this exam will be admitted to courses in direction and screenplay writing, cinematography, editing, and other related fields.

The tentative schedule for this exam is as follows -

- FTII JET 2022 Application form will be available from 1st week of November, 2022

- Last Date for Submission of FTII JET 2022 Application Form in 1st week of December, 2022

- FTII JET 2022 Admit card will be available from 2nd week of December, 2022

- FTII Entrance Examination in the 3rd week of December, 2022

Film & Television Institute of India (FTII) and Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute (SRFTI) has released the JET application form 2021 on November 3, 2021. The submission deadline to submit the JET 2021 application form is December 2. So for 2022 the application form will be released in the month of November 2022 and the application form will be released in the online mode. Candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories have to pay Rs 1250 as FTII JET registration fee, whereas candidates who belong to other category have to pay Rs 4,000. You will find the application form in the official website only.

Jet is joint employment test. For this year JET ug 2021 examination you have to fill up the registration form. And the process is

• Step 1: Registration. Log on at jainuniversity.ac.in and click on 'Apply for JET 2021 UG program'.
• Step 2: Filling JET 2021 Application form. Login using your email address and password.
• Step 3: Fee Payment. The final step is to pay JET 2021 application fee.

FTII in Pune was established 1960. Its very old Indian television course college. Here offered certified courses which are for 1 year duration and pg diploma courses which are for 2 to 3 years duration.

But you want to cinema direction and cinematography both in a single course which is not possible dear. Because both are different. Cinematographers are  deals with cameras and lighting. The director deals with actors and story. There can be overlap, but the roles are clearly defined.

So you can't both courses in a single degree but you can do both courses in individually. You can join as a certified course degree then your time duration will be save.
