First of all congrats for securing 824 rank in GEEE 2019 . As per my knowledge students below 1k ranks are eligible for cse department for subject wise marks you have to contact administral or managerial department of GEEE , they will ask for appication then they may provide you but chances are less :)

For the  2017 pass out batch more then 250 companies visited , now you may feel like its more then any college in india but what could i do, its the truth.

Every student who registerd got placed.

There were companies who were non cs/it core and the ratio was like in 250 they were probably 60 0r 70 companies (NOT PERCENT).

While you will enetr in 3rd year you will have internship option in over 50 to 70 companies.

Now what else you want.

companies visiting campus were having average pacakage og 3 lacks and as time goes it goes down to 2.4 lacks.

some companies of pacakage >8 lacks also visited but few was selected ,now you may decide.

Packages offered about ongoing placement season for 2012-16 batch -

1. Major IT Houses - Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, IBM, 
Accenture offered 1100+ offers. All branches were allowed to sit for 
them. Package Offered - 4-5.5 LPA.

2. CS/IT Branch - 30+ companies visited for them including start-ups and pool campus drives. 
Highest Package offered was 10 LPA by Zycus which selected 2 Students.

3. ME Branch - Oerlianko Graziano visited our campus. Student also 
participated in Pool drives of TEGA, Saint Gobain, Hero, Hettich. One Female 
student got selected at Hero drive at 7.5 LPA.

4. EC Branch - Ericsson offered package of 5 LPA.

That was all to give you an idea about placements at Galgotias. One of my friend graduated from Jaypee Sector - 128. Here is what she told me about placements at Jaypee -

Novoinvent - 7 LPA
EnY - 5.5 LPA
Cognizant - 6.35 LPA

Like if talk about the CSE department then JAYPEES the faculty is very good and highly qualified and it has maximum strength of students and faculty than any other dept. in the University. Approximately 80% of CSE students get recruited every year , students get placed in the multinational companies including Infosys, Wipro, TCS and Tech Mahindra as mass recruiters.

They also work for the Aptitude skills and English skills of the students and prepare the students for the Placements from the first Semester.

Campus life here is awesome and far better then all the colleges. They have many extra curricular activities like student clubs for Sports, Music, Dance, Fashion, Management, Drama etc. These clubs organize lots of events, activities and competitions for the students, in which they can showcase their talents on the stage in front of the college crowd. Last but NOT the least, the academic + hostel fee for Jaypee is a bit high. So you can do the maths and choose what suits the best as per your financial situation and future goals.

I will suggest Jaypee over Galgotias.

GCET is affiliated to AKTU/UPTU so takes admissions via

1.UPSEEE for 90% of the seats

2.JEE Rank for 10% of seats alotted on merit basis for that a separate form comes but by now its last date is gone

3.Direct Admission

GEEE is enterance exam for Galgotia University (GU) an UGC recognized university not for GCET.

Do not confuse GCET with GU and GEEE with UPSEE.

As per your rank in ComedK 2019, you can get a seat in both CMR College and Cambridge Institute of Technology. Both of these are far better than Galgotias University, Noida in every aspect. If you do not have any branch preference towards CSE and IT (which are not available in both the universities as per your ComedK rank), you can choose either of the ComedK university. Galgotias University is a pretty decent college for MBA. Many good companies visit the campus though their pay packages are not very high but the college witnesses a 50% placement with an average package of 4 lakhs. The top companies visiting the campus are Aditya Birla group, HCL, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank and many others.
