If you have submitted the JEE-Main 2020 application form for both paper-1and paper-2 along with application fee than you are enrolled for both the papers.
You have to appear for both papers. Don't worry about timing of papers, papers will not conduct simultaneously.

Yes you can use oil pastels in b.arch exams but i would suggest you to use crayons as oil pastels are quite heavy and can be problematic and they generally mention crayons in examinations thus using crayons will be beneficial. Carry Hb pencils, extra pencils for the exams as

For 97.2 percentile your rank should be around 28k or at least in the range of 25k - 30k. If you are a general candidate, for this rank you may not get good NIT, even if you get it you will not get good branch. You need state
